The consultation
What the consultation covers
A talk and a look at your skin in daylight, 30 minutes on its own or the first part of the first visit. It comes before your first facial.
Your routine
What you use now, in the order you use it, and what you've stopped using.
What you'd like to avoid
A scent, an ingredient, a kind of touch. Birgit writes it down and plans around it.
A look in daylight
Birgit looks at your skin by the window, without a lamp, and tells you what she sees.
The plan
Which facial, how long, and how often, if at all. You can leave with a plan and no facial.
When to ask a doctor
We'll suggest a doctor first when
A facial can't do everything, and Birgit would rather say so than keep booking you. She will suggest your doctor, or a dermatologist, when:
You are pregnant or nursing
Ask your doctor which products and services suit you before you book.
You take a medicine that affects your skin
Some medicines change how skin responds to a facial. Ask your doctor first.
A spot or patch has changed
A mole, patch or sore that is new, changing or painful needs a doctor, not a facial.
You have a skin or health condition
Ask your doctor whether a facial is right for you, and tell Birgit what they said.
